Windows Phone 7 Smartphone Specs & Features Leaked

The HTC HD7 / HD3 Windows Phone 7 smartphone has been unofficially confirmed yesterday thanks to a bunch of leaked pictures showing the device in the wild. Today we have even more details for you, and no, HTC didn’t make the phone official yet. But the specs and features of this WP7 handset have apparently been leaked way ahead of schedule and there’s clear, unofficial, indication that this baby is heading to T-Mobile USA at some point later this year.

So let’s all look at the spec sheet below and extract the most important specs and
  • 1GHZ Qualcomm QSD8250 chipset
  • 512MB ROM and 576MB RAM
  • 8GB non-removable microSD card
  • 4.3-inch 480 x 800 WVGA capacitive touchscreen display
  • HSPA/UMTS dual-band 900/2100MHz
  • GSM/GPRS/EDGE quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz
  • HSDPA/UMTS 900/1700/2100MHz (T-Mobile USA support included)
  • 7.2Mbps HSDPA / 2Mbps HSUPA
  • A-GPS
  • Digital compass
  • Proximity sensor
  • Ambient Light sensor
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, dual-LED flash and 2-step camera button
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n

  • Kickstand
  • 1,230mAh removable battery
  • Buttons: Power button, Volume Up / Volume Down buttons, Start button, Back button, Search button
  • Various accessories, applications and widgets support

We’ve seen yesterday that the HTC HD7 / HD3 looks pretty much as we expect it to look and the specs sheet above kinda of confirms the specs and features we expect from this particular HTC smartphone. But the fact that a leaked specs sheet is available to the crowds doesn’t make the phone official yet. But what say you, T-Mobile USA, would you be willing to confirm the device?
HTC will probably announce the first Windows Phone 7 smartphones in October, and we already know that there are a bunch of WP7 handsets developed by the Taiwan-based manufacturer and we can only hope that the HTC HD7 / HD3 is one of them. With that in mind we’re also interested to see what the competition will have in store to match this particular handset as, from what we can see so far, even if not confirmed the HD7 / HD3 is definitely shaping up to become the flagship Windows Phone 7 smartphone of 2010.
